How much would you pay a babysitter/nanny for the following hours:
To watch my 1yo twins while I am at home (I work from home, so would be in another room) for 3-4 hrs a day. Said nanny would be responsible for getting them up from their nap, giving them lunch, playing with them a little and then putting them down for another nap.
I want to post an ad on sitter city but I have no idea what a reasonable rate is.

I would proably expect to pay $10/hour.

At least 10-15 an hour is what I am assuming most will expect.

Re: How much would you pay a babysitter/nanny for the following hours:
My friend who has twins pays her FT nanny $18/hr (they are 7 months old).
My babysitter is a PT nanny for toddler twin boys and I think she gets paid $20/hr 3 days a week.
Keep in mind I am in an urban area and nannies are very much in demand-- but just to give a frame of reference for twins.
