Re: How often do you give your infant a bath?

DD is 10 months and I give her a bath pretty much every night if I am home (if we are out on the weekends Ill skip it)

She LOVES it and gets so excited.

Every other night. He loves it, but it dries him out too much if we do it every night.

Nolan is 5 months and I give him a bath every night for the most part. Started that around 3/4 months to get a bedtime routine going. But we do skip here and there if I'm tired or we're out late for a holiday or something and if he needs I'll give him a bath that next day and then wait for the next night.

normally, every other night... but since she has been sick every night. She is one giant piece of snot and I feel the bath helps to clean her up and loosen it up. Plus, a hot bath makes you feel good when you are under the weather.

Re: How often do you give your infant a bath?

DD is 10 months old. From 8 weeks - 5 months it was everynight.

Then she started daycare, and was so overtired at the end of the day and she just wanted her crib and nothing to do with a bath so we switched to everyother day.

NOW... It's about 3 times per week.

James has SUPER sensitive skin, so we were told by the ped to bathe him every 2 days or so.

Re: How often do you give your infant a bath?

Since we got the green light to starts baths (after her belly button fell off) every single morning (with the exception of the days I work then we do it at night).

But after reading it seems like a lot of you moms do it at night. I might start switching. Not sure yet.

Re: How often do you give your infant a bath?

DS has sensitive skin. He gets a bath 2-3 times per week. I don't think I'd have time to bathe him every night. I pick him up on the later side. I feed him and try to spend some time playing with him. He also tends to fall asleep on the way home and take a nap.

Re: How often do you give your infant a bath?

Both have sensitive skin. DD gets a bath 1-2 times a week as per ped and the same was with DS. They don't get dirty at this age and it would do more damage to their skin if they had baths more then that.

Now DS gets them every other night or more because he is dirtyyyyyyyy!!Chat Icon School and playing outside and just being a boy makes him a messChat Icon
