How to get your mind of TTC
So I will start the meds this month to do an ER for IVF next month. I just don't know how to stop thinking/obsessing over TTC and infertility. Can you share things that you do to get your mind off things? I was thinking about planning a trip to florida or a few days by myself but i will probably just sit on the beach and obsess even more. Help!!!

I'm on the same cycle as you. I'll be starting my first IVF cycle next week. Our drugs arrived last night and I nearly fell on the floor when I saw the progesterone needle! hahaha.
I find going to acupuncture calms me down. Maybe take a yoga class or do some reading? I think its okay for it to be on your mind but just try to turn it into something constructive.
I hope we both have good news to share in 7 weeks!!!!

I just try to keep very busy. everytime I start obsessing, I just bring my focus back to whatever I am doing.

Just wanted to say I wish you good luck with IVF. I too have no advice on how to stop thinking about it..all I do is think about it. At this point I am even losing sleep over it.

I don't really have any advice for you. It's hard to get your mind of it!!! Just hang in there a bit longer and hopefully this IVF will work for you!!!! 
Then you will just start obsessing about the baby

Not too much advice to offer since I obsess over everything! We bought a house around the same time my cycle was starting so that was definitely a distraction to say the least.
All I can suggest is to take it 1 day at a time!
The big bag o' meds is definitely overwhelming. I decided I was better off NOT opening anything until the day they told me to start a particular drug. (Don't google side effects either.....will just scare u!)

I am trying to do the same thing... just stay busy and keep myself occupied...
However, it is difficult not to think of it!
I wish you lots of luck with your upcoming IVF!

Good luck with the IVF. Yoy just have to keep yourself occupied so you don't obsess. It is not always that easy.

Thank you all! I am going to throw myself into working out until they do the embryo transfer next month, which should be around thanksgiving. Any more advice would be much appreciated!!!
