How to plan when taking DC to an amusement park?
In two weeks we will be going ot Great Adventure for the day with a friend and her nephew. DS is 10 months old and STTN from approx 7-6:30. We plan on leaving the house around 5:00am, pick up my friend and her nephew and try to be at GA by 8:30 for the Safari. Maybe its too early in the morning for me right now, but logistically how does this work? Do I wake DS up at 4:30 as if he is starting his day, give him his bottle, etc. and just hope he falls back asleep in the car ride? Do I make stops? We likely wont leave the park until it closes (10pm) do I do the same thing at night?
Do I pack a big diaper bag and leave it in a locker and just take a smaller bag for the stroller?
And to make things even more complicated, DH needs to give me an intramuscular shot at around 8pm, do you think we'd be able to do this at one of the medical stations?

I would do exactly that. My guess is he may get a ton of sleep in the car ride down; be completely over stimulated by Great Adventure & sleep in the car ride back. Make stops if he wakes up or maybe half way down when you pull over, check his diaper, change if necessary. With a stroller, he may be up & down sleeping anyway.
Big diaper bag in the locker. Smaller diaper bag for supplies.(great idea btw)
