How to tell how much is left in follistim cartridge
How do you tell if your follistim cartridge has a little overfill left? My cartridge was 300 iu, I took 150 on Monday and Tuesday each. I have to take 100 tonight. Should I dial 100, inject and see where the dial goes to and then inject that amount from a new cartridge? So if the dial goes down to 25, it means I already injected 75?

What you described is exactly correct! The dial will spin down as you inject until the vial is completely empty. Whatever number is shown on the dial when it's empty is what you need to inject from new vial.

They are usually overfilled a little. If you've already injected 300iu from cartridge, I would just start a new one. There's probably not much left.

Thanks girls. Daisy, I had an extra 100 iu left! I would definitely recommend to anyone that they try to make use of the overfill, especially if they have to pay for the meds.

Wow! I never would have expected it to be that much. I always assumed it was less than 20 extra. Good to know. I'm glad you tried it and didn't listen to me! lol
