HSG billing question
Hi,
I had a HSG done with LI IVF at JT Mather Hospital in November. I had already been billed by LI IVF for the catheter insertion and the XRay and pad approx. $300 for that. Now I just got a bill from JT Mather for $2700! for "OR Radiology".
Has anyone else ever got a bill for that much for an HSG? I had no idea it would cost $3000 to get this test done. I called already for their financial assistance application, but don't know what the requirements for that are. Anybody have any ideas about what I can do about this bill?

I have called billing dept but they are just saying that's what it is apparently. My insurance co said it's just the cost to use there facility. I was just wondering if anybody else ever received a bill like this for an hsg?
