I actually admitted for the first time tonight
that i am on my way to healing not that i am not going to still have bad days but, now when i think of my sweet dh i can smile a little more and even yell at him. like my heart is being slowly healed with a scar that will never go away but will not hurt as much anymore. I HAVE LIF a lot to thank for this. Just thought i would share this. I will come out of this on top and I will always have him in my heart and his loving memory  Thank you Keith for showing me the love and the light to feel ok again. LOVE YOU MY LOVE Always in my heart but never forgotten

That is so strange - I JUST was writing an email to a friend that lost his father this past week. I was telling him how when my own father died someone told me that eventually when i thought about my dad the tears would disappear and be replaced by smiles and laughter. I never thought I would get to that point and it took a long time but when i did finally get there - I remember how GREAT it felt. It truely is a wonderful feeling when you can look back on the life of your loved one and smile about it.

the funny thing was a friend of mine was missing her daddy, and it made em talk to her as when others where talking to me and that is when it hit me... i have not cried for him to come home or back to me in a long time, i just would think of him and smile or laugh at the most stupid things he would do. i had a warm spot in my heart for the first time in almost 3 years

I knew you would get there someday but in your own time. But always know a rough patch may come along once in a while & we will all be here for you. Keith would want you to be happy & he will always be with you.

Thanks to you a lot Jodi!!!! all those nights I leaned on you and you where always there for me. Even pretending to be me to the cell phone company!! Wow that seems like ages ago.  You truly helped me and now i can believe in all the things you told me because now i see the light and there is something at the end of that dark tunnel for me. Thanks again Jodi for everything!!!
A lot of what i just said to Jodi goes for alot of other girls here who where there for me on those long dark nights and just held my(fm) hand till i calmed down. I can never ever thank you all enough. I am truly blessed to have had found LIW/F

Janet i'm so glad your finally starting to feel good again , I knew you would. It takes time to get through losing a loved one, But when you have family and friends helping you get through it,It does make it a "little' easier because you know you have them to lean on for comfort and support, LIF has been a great source for that, And when you have those friends (lif) who you can count on that makes it more of a difference as well.. Yes you will have some bad days, But like you said your on the right road now and your starting to heal now.
