I AM FUMING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Can they shut off your water in your apartment to do work on someone else's apartment without telling you?! I just went to go wash my hands and NO WATER! I hear them doing something in the apartment below me, and now I have NO F-ING WATER!

I just said, is it your policy to shut people's water off and NOT tell them? I'm nine months pregnant, do you KNOW how often I need to use the bathroom? Not to mention I need to go out and now I can't even shower. They were just like, yeah, an hour and it'll be back on. HELLO, NEXT TIME F-CKING TELL ME! You are LITERALLY RIGHT DOWNSTAIRS!

ALL it would have taken was to knock on the freaking door. They are literallystanding outside my front door talking and I guess what they consider "working", but they can't knock on the freaking door? And my front door is open, so it's not like they would think no one is home

I used to live in a complex and they had to tell us when they will turn the water off. They put a notice by the mailbox so everybody would see the notice.

I mean, I can understand if it's an emergency, but obviously it's not so much of one that they don't have time to stand outside my front door and smoke cigarettes. I'm writing a letter complaining to the management company. Not like it will do any good, but still.

Probably because they looked visibly scared when I went back into my apartment However, it could just be that I'm smelly, nine-months prego and not showered that scared them!

PS- I still feel so freaking SKEEVY because I only discovered I had no water when I went to go wash my hands, and I STILL have not washed my hands. I mean, I used a baby wipe and anti-bacterial gel, but nothing replaces washing your hands!

Well now they've packed up and LEFT and the water is STILL turned off. I'm so frustrated right now that I feel like screaming. I had sh-t to do today and I can't even take an f-ing shower. I'm about ready to explode. I can't even flush my f-ing toilet.

I live in a Fairfield complex on LI. I don't even think there's anyone I can call. It's privately owned and maintained, I'm assuming they can do what they want. THey always do, anyway. I'm just so upset right now. It's not the end of the world, and I know that, but I'm frustrated and cranky enough as it is, that this is just the icing on the cake today.

wow, I am not sure which Fairfield you live in, but I cannot imagine that they can do that. I would send a letter of complaint in to the manager. If your water is included in your monthly rent bill, I would tell them that you are deducting the day's loss of water from your rent.
Sorry.... you do not need this extra stress right now
