What is the outcome? Have you called? Still thinking about this!
I am still trying to calm down from this. DH wanted me to call yesterday, but I would've said some nasty things. I am pretty sure I am going to call today and make an appt with the doctor.
Problem is: I am having another surgery on Monday and I have had a horrible week. (This was just the cherry on my crap sundae this week.) My family is now concerned that I am too worked up to relax for my surgery. So, I need to distance myself from stress right now.
Thank you for asking.

i can kind of understand not wanting your child to wander or run in the office (i worked in claims and insurance so right away the scenario of your child tripping and getting hurt popped in my head) but other than that i can't see why this receptionist is being so horrible....its one thing to say please dont have him run but all the other things are just terrible!! it doesnt sound like you did anything wrong here and the receptionist clearly is a you know what 
i would try to talk with the doc if you are happy with him - maybe you can resolve the issue - if not get the heck out of there, you dont need that crap....
