 I was so worried because my niece and nephew both had it and I spent an entire weekend with them and I am uncertain if my son is going to get it from them.

That is great! I wasn't immune when I was pg with my son. So 3 weeks ago a little boy in my son's class had it and I was a wreck. It turns out I am immune to it now. My son had a few crazy fever viruses over the past 2 years so i would assume one of them was the fifth disease. Now I just have to pray no one gets the chicken pox.

Thats great! Im not immune to it and had to leave my classroom (and school) for three weeks because a student had it!

if you have had fifth disease before, you become immune to it, correct? Or is this something you can get more than once?
