I am really scared
Need hugs, prayers and advice. I am 9 wks PG with my first and just wiped (TMI) and had brown discharge - not a lot. Called the doctor and I am going in tomorrow to make sure everything is ok with the baby. I feel fine and have had no issues.
I am so scared right now and I freakin have Back to School night tonight. Please send good vibes and any advice

It's good you are getting this checked out, but most likely you are fine. Did your doctor do an exam yet? I had one at the beginning of my pregnancy and wound up with light spotting afterwards. It wound up being nothing.
I hope all is well, and I'm sure it is. Try to relax and not think of the worst now.

Try not to worry. Same thing happened to me @ 9 weeks, had a sono, all was fine... my dr said brown is old blood- if you've had sex in the past few days in can irritate the cervix & cause a little bleeding.

Brown blood is usually old blood. The same thing happened to me for a few days at 4 weeks and I am now 31 weeks pregnant.

I wouldn't worry too much. I went through the same things at 8 through 10 weeks.I was put on bedrest for about 4 weeks.I'm not 35 weeks and everythng is fine. Just check with your doctor. You're in my prayers.Best wish and Take care.

I had that to around 4 weeks, it was like very light brown discharge, it went away the next day. I wouldn't worry to much about it unless it turns red and you have bad cramping.

I had spotting similar to that for two weeks from weeks 6 through week 8. I was very worried too but the doctor told me as long as it wasn't heavy like AF then it should be okay. Hopefully your doctor will set your mind at ease.

I know it's easier said than done, but try to not think about it and just relax until you go to the dr.

Try not to worry too much. It's probably nothing. I actually had bright red spotting early on in the pregnancy that turned into brown spotting for the next day or two. Then a few weeks later I had dark red spotting, almost like the start of AF, only once when i wiped in the morning. Both turned out to be nothing at all. I am 24 weeks now and everything is fine. Many, many people have a little spotting in the first trimester.

The same thing happened to me at 9 weeks and I was out of state. First it was brown blood then it got a little bit red. Just try and stay off your feet. My OB told me it was very common for that to happen around 9 weeks. I gave birth to a healthy little girl 6 weeks ago.

I hope to hear everything is alright. I'm 35 weeks today and I've had all sorts of spotting throughout my whole pregnancy. It is very scary I know but try to stay positive.
I never had any spotting prior to 12 weeks when it is most common to spot. I spotted dark brown and then it was light pink when I was 18 weeks. I freaked out and had my my mom rush me to the ER. It turned out that I had a low lying placenta which is very common. I stopped spotting 3 days later. Then I spotted very little at 26 weeks I was a lot calmer because I knew it could be for many reasons. The dr saw me right away and everything was fine. It was old blood and probably the cause of my placenta moving up.

as hard as it will be, just hang in there until you know tomorrow. i had the SAME thing around 6 weeks, went on bedrest for 3 days and everything was fine. then it would come and go for another week and a half. i was told the first trimester can be like that bc the baby is settling in. i never knew that since i never had it with my son. good luck and just try and relax as much as possible...i know, easier sad than done!

I had the same thing (with brownish blood) at 7 weeks and again at 9 weeks. I went to the dr. the first time I saw it. When she checked me out she said she noticed I still had some old blood and that I would spot for a little bit. She said I shouldn't be concerned unless it became bright red accompanied by cramps.
I'm sure it's fine, but .

I had ALOT of brown discharge about 6 weeks and it was nothing. I was told not to be too concerned unless you were cramping and it was red, not brown.
