I am so upset with my MIL right now......
As you all know I'm a SAHM and this year with the money I made from my new venture I was SOOOOOOO excited to buy my DH something super special for being so supportive.
So after clearing the trip with my inlaws I booked a trip to Atlantic City with friends of ours (we've been saying we're going to go together for 7 years now LOL). I booked it on Tuesday and told my MIL the dates and we were good to go.
I started working on how I was going to tell him - was going to play "Blue's Clues" to see if he could figure it out. I was so giddy over it.
So last night DH says to me - sooooo, did you talk to our friends to see if they were up for going to AC with us. I was like huh???? He goes is it just us or are they coming along. I was like how did you know - he goes my mom spilled the beans.
I am so mad - I told her it was a surprise and DH said she mentioned it while they were talking and her bringing it up had ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to do with what they were talking about 
So another year and he knows what he's getting.......so upset :( Oh well, at least he's excited. Still sucksssss though.
My MIL is lucky I like her

I had that, a map of NJ and a picture of our friends......I even bought a little notebook and attached it to Ava's stuffed animal Blue.
I think I may be watching too much Noggin

I would say in a passive aggressive way (my personal favorite) that maybe from now on you will use your parents to babysit since they can keep a secret
