I know it's easier said than done, but try not to stress. I had a lot of brownish discharge from around week 6/7 through week 9. I was crampy the entire time too. My dr. said the brown discharge is normal. 
that all is fine.

I've had 2 small bouts of bleeding so far (first was brown, with little cramping- 2nd time was bright blood with no cramping) When I called my OB, she said that brown meant "old" and that was OK. But I had a sono the 2nd time and everything was just fine. I was a mess too, like you but it turned out OK. Hang in there, try to relax until the sono.
