I am sure this was asked before-feeling the baby move
I am 17 weeks and I have no idea what I should feel. I know once it is real thumps, I will feel it.
I have partial placenta previa as of now-That doesn't effect feeling her, right?
I think I feel a little vibration or weird sensation on the right side above my hip-can that be ?
I just want to feel her already!

Re: I am sure this was asked before-feeling the baby move
I felt the first "flutters" at 17 and a half weeks (though, of course, it is different for everybody), and for the first few weeks, I could only really feel it if I was laying on my stomach, or occasionally if I was laying on my back. It felt, at first, like little bubbles (could easily be confused with gas bubbles!!) or like a little butterfly-type feeling. The first few times I felt it, I wasn't positive if I had or not (I wanted to so badly, just like you!!) but as the days went on and I felt it more and more, I was able to recognize it. I definitely recommend laying on your stomach in bed or on a couch and just being relaxed and quiet for a few minutes. Don't get frustrated if you don't feel it yet though- because in a few short weeks you will know for certain! I am 24 weeks now and I feel it all the time and can see it now too! Good luck!! :o)

With DS my first feelings felt like a twitch but on my insides. That's how I'd best describe it anyway. Lol!
