I am totally spooked right now !!!!! I didn't know 666 numbers existed!
My cell rang and it is a 666- number  I have never seen this number ,so I hit ignore ! 2 seconds later the same number calls me again ,so I answer....and the guy is like " this is chuck with so and so delivery "! I tell him he has the wrong number and it sounded like he said " I am sorry Valerie"  I am trying to think of something he could of said that sounded like my name b/c that is just to scary

There are several programs/sites out there that can fake callerID. http://ws.cdyne.com/NotifyWS/phonenotify.asmx?op=NotifyPhoneBasic
It's fairly easy to make fake callerID numbers, and if a computer was reading the text, it would sound weird.

in the bay shore/islip area--the 666 exchange is very common.
growing up my old phone number was 666-2567...and a lot of my friends had the 666 number. don't feel too spooked..its a real exchange on long island!

I've had a 666 number since I was little (grew up in bay Shore). My Mom had a coworker who wouldn't call us because our number started with 666.

A lot of numbers in westchester have the 666 exchange. I can't tell you how to feel. If you're spooked, you're spooked. However, there are plenty of evil people in this world who don't need any attachment to the number "666" to do what they do. Superstition will harm you a lot faster than that number will.

I grew up with a 666 telephone number (Bay Shore) - my sisters STILL have it and so do a lot of my friends from the old Maroon and White!
