Am I like a complete pussay? Anyone else at 36 weeks just completely miserable?

You're definitely not alone! I'm at 35W3d and I'm literally dragging through my workdays. My attitude is so terrible at this point too. I just want to be done already!

Re: I can't deal with this!

Hey sweetie I am 36 weeks and I feel like lard. I have gross canckles that make it hard for me to walk, my @$$ hurts on the right side from this nerve thing, I can BARELY keep my eyes open, I get the hiccups every 5 minutes for no apparent reason, and my esophagus is on FIRE from this stupid heartburn. And in between all that I have to do conference calls, speak to clients, and type out press releases. I TOTALLY feel you!!!! If you feel like poop, take some time off, speak to your boss about maybe cutting back your hours, GO EAT SOME CHOCOLATE (that seems to work for me Chat Icon ). But do what you need to do to alleviate some of the uncomfortbleness and pressure you are feeling. We need you to be in Super Strength Mode to get Max Power out and into this world! So take care of yourself mamma!

New strategy I tried today - 30-minutes on my boss's couch watching Martha while he's at lunch Chat Icon let's see if this makes a difference in cankles this evening (then I'll let ya know if I recommend)

eww my boss' office is nasty. There's probably about 7 water bottles at least half filled with tobacco spit on his desk at any given time.

You have every right to feel the way you do!

I am 36 weeks to and feel pretty good. BUT I don't work and I don't usually get out of bed until about 7:30/8am when my DH gives me a kiss good bye!

I could not imagine having to get up early and get dresses for work!

I don't think your a wimp or a whiner or a pussay...you're a pregnant woman. You've had enough and you're entitled to say so.

Re: I can't deal with this!

Dude, I'm 37 weeks and my work has been extremely accomdating - thats the only reason I still go (aside that I need the money to get through the 3 months unpaid leave I'm taking)

I'm always late for work and I generally take a long lunch or have a Dr. appointment that takes me out for a while- so don't feel bad about leaving early when you need to. I know I have a hard time sleeping at night, I wake up every hour or so and sometimes have trouble getting back to sleep - so if you are going through the same thing - I'm not surpirsed you are done for the week, especially if you've been going in on time and working full days with normal breaks.... I left at 4:00 a few days ago - just went into my boss's office and told her I was leaving early....I was probably feeling like you do now! The good news is that we are sooo close to the end!!!!
