To sum it up, you are normal.
yep this is how i was. totally wanted a girl and had my heart set on it and when i found out it was a boy i was bummed to the point of tears. but now i cant wait to meet my lil guy. totally normal.

i think everyone feels this way no matter what. I desperately wanted a boy for my husband, he wanted one so badly I didnt want to disappoint him <- i know sounds so silly. when the sono lady zoomed in and I saw my babys pickle for a split second i thought its not a girl  which makes NO SENSE since i wanted a boy so badly. It just proves that us humans are so F8ked up we want what we cant have all the time hahaha no worries love u r so normal!

I want a girl. Of course what self proclaimed girly girl wouldn't love a baby girl to dress up in pink. I have already told myself since BFP that the baby is a boy. I have totally gotten used to the idea that my baby is a boy & I'm happy.
DH didn't care but his Mom wants a girl.
If the Dr. says girl I will fall off the table.

totally normal feelings...with DC#2, we really didnt care. I really wanted a boy for DS to have a playmate, but also really wanted a girl (i think my DH did too). Well when we went for the sono and the tech said girl, we both looked at each other with tears of shock and happiness. My gut was saying girl the whole time but I totally figured I was having another boy. The only time I was slightly disaapointed was after the sono when some people made comments of how a boy and girl cant be as close as siblings of the same gender. Well they were wrong...now that she's hear, it makes no difference...they truly adore each other and itb makes me so happy to have a son and daughter.

I think you're thinking that until you find out and then you're just going to be so excited it's not going to matter if it's a boy or a girl.
I told DH I had a dream that we had a girl and he said it sounded more like a nightmare!

We are on #2 and finding out next week. I aready have a DD. WIth this one, I feel like either way I am going to be happy, but either way I am also going to be disappointed.
If it's a girl, I will be excited for my DD and her sister to have a sisterly bond, especially since they won't be too far apart in age. I have a sister, so I know how cool it can be. However, I will be disappointed that I won't get to experience having a boy, and DH won't get to have a son.
If it's a boy, I will be excited for DH to have a son and to have a boy experience - but DD will miss out on the sisterly thing...
Don't know if this makes sense...but it makes sense in my head

This is so me! I want a girl so bad! My DH really wants a boy. In the long run I would like a boy first and then a girl... but I really want a girl right now

Do not feel bad. Totally 100% normal. This will be my last pregnancy, and when I found out it was another boy, I literally cried (for quite a while ). Now that I have gotten used to the idea, I am beyond excited.
Honestly, I was not sad to have a boy, I was grieving for the girl I won't have, KWIM?
Trust me, whatever it is, the moment you hear the baby cry (before you even lay eyes on him/her) you will be in love.
