I had my baby...It's a boy... and someone please tell me it gets better...
He is beautiful and I am blessed. At another time I will post my birth story but he was born after a short labor and 3 pushes...all 9lbs 14oz.
We came home yesterday and I didn't remember how emotionally hard this was going to be. My hormones are getting the best of me and I just need some reassurance that I can do this because right now I am not sure I can.

You can do this, but you shouldn't do it alone. How much help do you have right now?
And remember, if at the two week mark your hormones still feel out of whack, check in with your doctor.

It does get easier i promise Hormones are all over the place still and it's still an adjusting period.
Everyone told me with 2 little ones around 3 PP everything falls into place and the cloud lifts and i didn't believe them until it happened to me.
You just have to find your groove and once those pg hormones leave you'll start to get into one, i promise..

It will get better...you have to find your routine but you need time. Make sure not to be too hard on yourself...you need time.
BTW - You are a great mom...when you cry when you laugh when you are tired and when you are doing what has to get done...you are great because you love them! And they love you

You can do it. I believe God never gives you more than you can handle. Don't feel like you have to be perfect, just take care of you and that baby and everything else will fall into place.

Totally gets better! I've been there, so have most of the ladies on this board. You have a warm weather baby so take adavantage of that and go for some walks this week. I swear it will help him sleep and make you feel better. Take some time for you, get your husband or a family member to stay with the baby so you can get a pedi or a cup of coffee.
It's the biggest adjustment of your life so it's tough,but you will feel better soon. FM if you want to vent. GOOD LUCK

Well, you got through it once before and you will again--that's the thought that brought me through the first week or two at home with DD#2. In my experience, the first baby was sooo much worse in terms of baby blues--nevertheless, I did feel overwhelmed, guilty, sad, happy and all those things with the second as well. It all passes and you know that!! I hope before you know it, the worst of it is a faint memory!

He's adorable! Congratulations!!!!!
It DOES get so much easier. Just take it hour by hour if you have to. Try and shower and get dressed (at least clean PJs) and rest as much as you can. It will get easier!!

I am crazy busy today at work but when I saw your post I had to respond that it does get easier. It totally does. I think we sometimes forget how hard those first few weeks can be, especially when you have another child at home.
You post brought me back to 5 years ago, when I brought my youngest home. I remember my thoughts during the first few week (even if the truth be told, in the hospital) were what the fu*k was I thinking  But, it gets better and your hormones return to normal levels and you realize how many millions of other women have been where you are and how lucky you are.
Stay well and congratulations, he is a beautiful baby.
