I had my bad mommy moment today

DD and I went to the mall, and I was feeding her on a bench. I could tell she wanted her diaper changed, so I put her into the carrier (in the stroller), not strapping her in, brought her into the bathroom of Borders.

I was trying to get the stroller through the door, the wheel got caught on that marble slab that separates outside flooring to bathroom flooring...the stroller tipped forward, she started falling forward and was stopped by the handlebars to her face I immediately reacted and stopped moving and grabbed her to put her back, but I felt so horrible. She took about 10seconds then started to cry I hated seeing her fall like that I know it was an accident, but still...

And some guy was walking out of the men's bathroom and totally saw everything, he could have at least grabbed the door...I had to use a hand to open the door and that's when the stroller got stuck

Don't beat yourself up too much. Msny of the moms on LIF (me included) have had days like that too.

I dropped the activity bar on my son's bouncy seat right on his head when he was sitting in it. Boy I felt bad!

I put AJ in her stroller and didnt strap her down cause my hands were super full and i had to pick up some stuff while we were getting her photos done (1yr). Told my hubby "You got her" and i just ASSUMED he'd know to check her straps. As I pushed her in she leaned forward and SMACK face first to the ground. The whole right side of her face was BEET red.



My hubby blamed me of course like i needed extra guilt. He backed off at my glance .. she got better within 5mins. I felt like such an arse and I was sooo mad.

Awww, don't feel bad. At least DC is fine, no harm done.
