The only things I hate are white Christmas trees, and again, the blow up things. I mean one small one, maybe, but some people go nutz.

I agree with this completely. I think the more lights the better BUT they have to be the same exact ones all over. Otherwise I hate it. Big and small bulbs. Some blink, some don't. Icicle lights and mulitcolor lights. It looks cheesy imo.

I actually don't really care for these either......but I DO have a plastic Santa Goofy that my little sister....well, um...she "found" for me a while back!! And I am so happy to have a Santa Goofy I don't care if he is Vintage 1981!!!

Blow up lawn decor - definitely not my cup of tea. While I dislike them - it's hard not to like something like that when you're hearing "Look at that GIANT SNOWMAN! HE'S GREAT!!!!" from the backseat. No matter what, I won't answer the question "Why can't we get one?"honestly. The last thing I want my kids thinking is the thing that they think is great isn't.
Icicle lights are fine as long as they're a certain kind of lights.

I almost wet myself when she gave it to me!!! She must have 16 when she did this.....she even wrapped it like a gift!! It's been hiding in my closet for 2 years now.......this is the 1st Chistmas DH will let me put it out!!!

My DH and I have strong opinions about lights. We are like the X-mas police. We hate iclicels, net lights, anything blow up , blue lights and when people don't match their lights.

LMAO!!!!!!!!!!! Vinny's parents and Vinny (who are in the next room) probably think I'm CRAZY b/c I just LOST it laughing OUT LOUD SO LOUD!!!!!

One year my Mom was SO fed up with them (even though my Dad wanted to keep ours) so she told my brother to throw them out and we got really nice new stuff for the lawn-- so of course, my brother being the wise azz that he is-- takes the DISINTEGRATED santa whose FACE was missing b/c the paint was worn off and puts him on the lawn NEXT to my mom's new, beautiful white wicker reindeer from Pier One!!! LOL!!! I almost peed my pants-- then he takes the classic red candles with BRIGHT yellow plastic flames YET random white fake wax melting-- and puts them on either side of the NEW christmas decor...
My mom almost killed him LOL but she couldn't help but crack up!

Blow ups on the front lawn.
Too many items on the front lawn in general- where it starts to look majorly cluttered and like you could have your own LIPA substation in your back yard to support it all!

those blow up things were cute when not everybody had one, now they bug me...there is a house on Rosevale by the lake in Ronk that has like an eighth of an acre and NO JOKE 30 blow up things. unreal
