I prefer mix n' match lights if done with some thought... all white is so BORING.

I don't mind Icicle lights - it made it possible for most christmas light challenged people (like me) to light up their houses neatly...

AND... I also think that unless your azz is out there, freezing your nips off, dangling precariously from ladders and zapping yourself with surge protectors and extension cords you shouldn't talk sh*t.

For the record, my house has no lights up at the moment.

How about the plastic Santa and large red plastic candlesticks from the early 80s??!! They are SO Circa 1981!!! LOL!! My neighbor only JUST threw them out last year-- LOL!!!

Blinking lights. Sorry if I offend anyone. I don't mind racer lights (the ones that look like they're chasing each other), but the ones where different patches of lights blink drive me crazy. It actually hurts my eyes to look at them sometimes.

-when people have a combination of still and blinking lights outside of their house, have all of one or the other
-mixing white lights and color lights
-when someone has an extra foot or so of lights and they just let it hang on the lawn or off to the side of the house, I dont understand why they just dont pull those extra bulbs out so you cant see them
-large blow up lawn ornaments--for any holiday!!!!

These are my favorite lights! I think the bulbs are called C7.

Meh...there are a lot I don't like..but they don't reeeally bother me...I guess Christmas means and is different for everyone and I can appreciate that.

Tinsel on trees. I hate that too. Unfortunately, DH loves it. I've won the battle the last two years, but I may have to give in on that one sooner or later.

He hates garland, I love it, and we've had it the two years he's lived here...

I can appreciate all kinds of Christmas decorations, but I really don't like rope lights. They look okay at night, but during the day, they are just tubes of ugly plastic.

Also, the blow up globes. They get all foggy inside and look dirty to me.

Other than that, I don't mind the blow-ups...as long as used in moderation. I have 1 giant snowman. My kids love it, so, so do I.

Blow ups.

Total disregard for energy conservation - they guy across from me has had lights up since the day after Halloween - from 5pm until the morning!! And every day there are more of them -- it's gross!

i hate those plastic painted characters - the old school ones

i also hate blinking likghts and i am really not a fan of multi color lights

i like all white, or all green or all red lights

I also do not like colored lights, unless they are red or green. Pink, orange and blue does not remind me of Christmas at all.

Too much of ANYTHING is just awful! I'm not a fan of the blow up things.. ESPECIALLY when you have a tiny lawn and the only thing you see is a huge blow up globe.
