I have been debating all day about posting this... Update Beta#1...Update Beta #2
So here goes..
Last night
I got
A BFP!!!!
After 16 months of ttc, 1 m/c, 5 IUI's, 2 rounds of clomid and one hsg, we might actually be pregnant!! I realize this is nothing compared to what some people have to go through. I am counting my blessings. I just hope this is real.
We go in tommorow for a beta.
I am so so scared. This is almost a year to the day from when get our BFP positve last year.. and that didn't end well.. Seriously, Monday was 1 year from the BFP and Thursday was the BFP this time. I am little nervous. Last year it was a really faint line that only appeared like every other test.. this time it was super dark and instant. That has to be a better sign, right?
If you know me in IRL, I implore you to keep this quiet for a while. I am not a wait 12 weeks type person.. just not my personality but, I can't tell the world again that I miscarried, god forbid. I will let you know when it can get spread around.
DH is excited.. I am holding back for now. I don't want to get too attached. I feel like AF is coming any minute. I have slight cramps like period cramps. Please tell me this is normal???
I want to be excited.. I was at the mall today and I walked past the maternity stuff and I had to look away. I can't even let that enter my mind, yet.
So please.. keep us in your prayers that this is the real thing!!!
Thank you to everyone who helped me on this board and on the TTC board. I treasure all of your advice and support. It has meant the world to me! I am really not ready to move onto pregnancy yet.. too scared.. So I will probably post my updates here until we get the second beta.
UPDATE: The first beta is in! 619!! When I pg before it was 500 at 5 1/2 weeks, so I am way ahead of the game already!! The progesterone was 24!! This is starting to feel real and much stronger than the last time!! I have another Beta on Monday. For doubling!!
UPDATE Number 2:
Beta: I can't remember exactly but it was between 1100 and 1200. Not quite doubled but close, I guess.
The progesterone dropped to 21..

Even though I was one of the first to know you know how happy I am for you!!!!! I could not pick two much more deserving people to get this! It is ok to be skeptical but hopefully it will all go to rest once you have your beta!!!

BTW, cramping is totally normal in pregnancy, especially in the beginning. I am almost done with my first trimester, and have had consistent cramping since BEFORE my BFP!!
