I have been holding this in all day
but have to tell someone. I am STILL angry and annoyed.
I went to 7-11 this morning because I forgot to fill up the perculator last night, so I could just press it this morning. My 7-11 is right next to Amityville High school. The 7-11 only lets a few students in at a time, but let's people who are obviously not students in without having to wait. So, I go in, get my coffee, pay, and I cannot even get out of the store. They are pushed against the door. So, I try to get through, saying excuse me, etc. Now before anyone jumps on me, AHS is about 95% african american. All of the kids outside were black. So, I am trying to get through, and this one girl is just looking at me, rolling her eyes, so I say "EXCUSE ME", again, she dosent move. Now, I cannot get past her, I am stuck in the middle of all of these kids. So, I finally shove my way through, and she says, "Watch yourself b*tch". I'm like, "What did you just say?". She repeats herself, and I just walk to my car, and I hear her say, "I hate f*ckin white people". I said, "Do you really, why". She wouldnt answer me. I told her to stfu, and get to school, and drove away.
I wonder where she learned that from?

That's awful! I tend to think that these kids have little respect for others in general, and if it wasn't your skin color, she would have found some other obnoxious comment to make. As far as where she learned to hate white people, I'm sure it's from her parents and/or community.

although, remember that age though when you had to "Act cool" and "prove" something to your friends? that could have been part of it, too...

I have to disagree and say it was racially motivated. If Holla was black it probably would have been a different story.

I can not even begin to tell you how pi$$ed off I was. I did NOTHING to this girl, and she tried to get all sassy with me, with her ignorant remark. Now, if I would have walked out, and said, "I hate black people", I would be dead right now. She actually tried walking towards me, and I told her"Bad idea sweetie, REALLY bad".
