I wish there was something you could have done (with the school, anyway) like she'd need to go for mandatory counseling or something. And she would have to make a formal apology. I'd go there tomorrow and look for her a$$, go to the school and tell them of her actions. I'm wondering if there's something they could dol.

It is things like this that make me not want to have kids.....its sad but true. You can only hope that you raise your kids right and teach them respect, but when they are out there with other kids who aren't a good influence...thats what happens. They are all followers nowadays....no one is a leader anymore. I doubt she would have said that in front of her mother! Its the "bad seeds" they hang out with. Kids are such punks today!

I had something similar happen to me once years ago...
I was taking a shortcut home through Wyandanch/Wheatley Heights and my car broke down...
This was before I had a cell phone...
I was on a corner by a house with about 6 teenage AA girls hanging out.
They started screaming at me...HEY WHITE GIRL, car broke down??? Ha ha ha...HEY WHITE GIRL, wanna use the phone...NOT!!! LOOK AT THE WHITE GIRL SITTING ALL ALONE...etc, etc.
I seriously couldn't believe it.

I agree.... Her cussing at you has nothing to do with you being white (although I think it might have been icing on the cake). It's sad bc many kids just don't have respect for adults anymore.
DH is subbing at a predominantly black HS and he said most of this kids are like this and will curse at any adult - black or white.

maybe it didnt start out as a race issue but once she spoke the words "I f*&^ing hate white people" it BECAME a race thing.
just like that Fat Nick thing (bad example, but im using it) he beat up a black guy and used RACIAL terms so it then BECAME a hate crime......
once you say something about someones race, religionl, sexual orientation, IT IS a race, creed, sexual orientation issue!!!!!!!!!!!!
plain and simple.
just like if Holla said to the girl first, "i f*&$ing hate black people" it would then be a racial thing!
if she didnt say anything about Hollas RACE then it would not be a racial comment, but she obviously DID and i cant understand how anyone would still say its not a racial thing.
