now that we have a little info that it's not a rumor... my question is: how crazy will it be when it comes on the market?
i'm willing to sleep outside my verizon store to make sure i get one lol

I would make a bet that when this happens -- there will be service outages due to the amount of people switching their services to Verizon.
My DH desperately wants an iphone but doesn't want AT&T service, and I'm trying to hold him over to wait till Verizon gets the Iphone, since he's due for a new phone & contract!

I have both an iphone and a bberry with Verizon...and my iphone doesn't get or make calls...EVER.
It's worth every single penny going with Verizon - NEVER a dropped call or missed call...always in range and have service. I doubt that the overload of users is what makes ATT so bad...it's the signal and technology, or lack thereof.
I've had my iPhone for appx 2 years now and have never had a problem. A few dropped calls here and there but nothing major. I'm content with the service.
Me too and my DH has one too.
The issues with ATT are most definitely caused by a huge amount of users with iphones. They use so much bandwith downloading stuff, its insande.
If this happens and I doubt it will this year many will go over to Verizon and then the AT&T network will be fine. You will see that AT&T's service will be better than Verizon.
The reason it hasn't come out yet is that they are trying to create a network that can handle it. AT&T hasn't gotten there yet. It will take a long time for them to make their network right for this device.
I totally agree. Then people will be complaining about Verizon's service.

Just want to specify!!!! This was info my cousin gave me in Dec. Things can change. SOOOOOO if and when it does come out please be gentile on me.(meaning if it does not come out soon, dont hate me) I know my cousin said *WOW he would KILL ME right now*
but just know I am going by what he told me and like i said above THINGS can change. Not saying it is but they can. I will try to see if i can find out more. AGAIN I have said to much and I can get him in trouble. so I will be very vague about what i will say .
