I just found out that I'm anemic
So now in addition to taking my pre-natals, I also need to take 2 iron pills a day.  I suppose it could be worse though.

Nicole, I found out the same thing after I had my glucose test. When they called me they said I passed the glucose test -- but when they did the bloodwork they discovered that I was anemic and put me on an iron supplement..
I am only taking one iron supp. at night, along with my prenatal. I have to say in my case its doing a number on my stomach... (I'm constipated a few days but then the next few I cannot stop going.. sorry TMI  ) but they told me that this could happen so I was ready for it..
I guess as you said it could be worse , right

I am not anemic, but my doctor just mentioned to me that after my most recent bloodwork he was shocked i was not anemic because so many woman are later in their pregnancy.

That's my big fear. I was finally getting regular again, and I know these pills are going to kill my stomach. I'm not looking forward to that.

I was too...I took the Fiber Choice pills daily to help with the constipation.

Very common. Iron binds you so you may need to take colace too. I know I did.....
