and they were sooo nice!!! They told me not to worry about it. That they can def have me do some calling from home this Fri and next.

They told me not to go nuts trying to find someone to watch him.

We did find someone but she is 5 months PG and was on bedrest and lives far. I feel bad to have her drive in to watch him but we almost had no choice!

I love my job even though I hate working and am bored half the timeChat Icon

Side Note: SIL found out how mad I was from my BILChat Icon It will be so uncomfortable tomorrow morning dropping Andrew offChat Icon

Since she knows you were upset, I would just talk to her at this point. I hate that in DH family, one person says something to another, and so on. No one actually confronts the person- it gets me nuts. So I would tell her that you need to talk about this day care situation and find out if she is still interested at all.

What a great job you have...and maybe your SIL will realize she was putting you in a tough position

Totally agree. Absolutely bring it up while the topic is still hot, so to speak. Otherwsie if you let it fester it will get extremely awkward and your anger will grow. I would be nice and not aggressive but let her know that "hey, I totally understand that you may not be able to commit to watching DS every Friday, but I will need to know so I can make arrrangements that work best for everyone." It gives her the chance to opt out of watching him without you having to upset everyone by "firing" her.
