I just thought I'd quickly share...for those who know our sleep issues
LUCE SLEPT THROUGHT THE NIGHT on Friday. almost 21 months old. first time in his life!!!
and last night he slept from 8:30 to almost 4 am..and only woke up b/c his diaper leaked!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I just can't believe it. I slept for 5 hours STRAIGHT last night. you have no idea how long it's been since I have done that!!!!
but it is of course, bitter sweet. so many changes happening in our relationship now. he sleeps in his own bed, no more night nursing, and he's totally in love with his papi right now.  that, and the fact that we no longer play our "chasing game" (for safety reasons. I don't want him to think running away from me or anyone else is a game after a scare the week before)....I have to find a new way to bond with him in this new phase of our life together. 
thank GOD he still has his chubby little fingers and his sweet sweet smell.
ETA: sorry it was FRIDAY. FRIDAY night. I didn't sleep much though, b/c I was getting my 8 hours of my two other choices that night.

 that's great news..bitter sweet for sure.. but such progress!!! you must feel like a million bucks sleeping 5 hours straight!!

for some things I have my wings on, for others, the horns and tail come out! 
thanks everyone. it was quite lovely.
also sooooooooooooo nice to rub legs with my husband again at night.
20 months. it was the perfect amount of time with him in our bed...b/c I miss him, but am happy now with NO regrets!!!!!!!!!!!

No you totally are still a saint.
DD goes to bed at 8PM. The other night she was still up at 9PM. I put her in the crib, walked outside and hysterically cried for about ten minutes before I was able to go back up and keep walking her back and forth back and forth back and forth. . . .
