I keep getting screwed over with credit!!!

I swear every time I look at my credit report I have a mini stroke. I was the victim of ID theft and have yet to be successful in getting it cleared off and its killing me, then I pay off a credit card in August- never to receive a bill again from them, I checked my credit report today turns out they are reporting over 120 days late with a bal of 242 : I called and they said that it was residual fees and the annual fee that was billed in sept (my luck) and that I signed up for e -bills- ( which I dont remem at all and never got - otherwise I would have paid She said it could have went in my spam filter. What ever!!! She absorbed the late charges and told me to call the credit bureaus. Why is it that I keep getting screwed, I pay all my bills on time every month and my credit score would be perfect if not for these things that happen to me- I AM MURPHY'S LAW

Sounds just like my problem! If you had a ID theft problem and reported it a lot of credit card companys check and will close and reopen your account, they usually call you first. Capital One did that to me without telling me and then I had constant problems with them because they put my address down wrong and never sent me a bill and I couldn't access online because the account had been changed. You should double check that they didn't change your account because of a flag from the credit bureaus
