I know I shouldnt be surprised

but talking about unions...the UFT is the worst. I really dont know what I pay $1000 a year for.

They changed our mail order pharmacy plan in January and I never received notice. So when I sent them to the old place they were never filled and I still wasn't notified until I made a million calls today. How do you not notify your members of a big change like that? Its shady...you know people need prescriptions but by the time they get it all sorted out they have to pay out of pocket and they save money.

Last year the stupid union was no help when my position was cut. I was basically told there is nothing they could do? What ?????

I don't even have my insurance through them...DH also works for them and I'm under his plan. What a waste of my money every year. I hate them and I hate that I have to be a part of it. I would rather not be and take my chances.

I do not know why I pay union dues either, My dh had issues with his job and ins. long story, but my work and the corporate office and blue shield all agreed I could add dh before open enrollment in Nov. but my union said NO, I was so angry to say the least. so now dh has no health ins. until Nov. our union does crap for us and takes our money. then had the nerve to call and see if they could take another amount out of my pay for the political fund. YOU WANNA S*CK M WHAT !!!!
