I know I'm old, but I'm too young...
to be wearing a heart monitor. Ugh! I went to the cardiologist because of the heart palpitations I've been experiencing for a few weeks. He was very concerned when I told him how frequently I was having them. Now I have to wear this thing for 24 hours. How depressing.

You will be fine, I wore a heart monitor a few years ago and like i said in another thread it turned out to be anxiety attacks. I wil keep you in my prayers.

Me too.
I referred to myself as the Bionic Woman for the day.
It does make you feel a little old, but hopefully it gives them some answers.
Mine turned out to be something called SVT - every now and then I get an increased heart rate, mostly brought on my stress and in my case caffiene.
Easily treatable.

I had to wear one as well a few months ago. I became allergic to the glue on the sticky pads!!

I really wish it was caffeine. Other than the one cup of coffee I have in the morning, I avoid it. I cant say it a fluttering either. I'm certain it's a skipped heart beat. It happens about 3-4 times an hour. Trying not to worry about it, but it's hard not to think about it.

Same thing happens to be. I can be sitting at rest doing nothing and my heart starts racing. Scary, but at least you are being monitored! You will be fine!

Its ok hun!
I just did this back in September! I was scared but it was more just annoying- the wires and tape were a PITA
Turns out it was just stress related...not a heart problem.

I had to do the same. Then I had to carry around an event monitor for a month. Luckily mine was stress & diet related...I hope you get a good diagnosis!

me too, do you the whole time I had it on, not ONE palpetation. The minute I took it off I was a Fluttering mess. Good Luck.
