I know times were rough for us these past few months...but
We are finally putting a bid in on the home we have been drooling over! I'm beyond excited, yet scared in a way (just for the money issues). We are meeting with the realtor tonight. Please cross your fingers for us that they don't counter-offer! 
I know that with all the bad we have been through these past few months, this is really going to change us for the better. I know it in my heart!

OK, let me start by saying PLEASE don't flame me for this...I am totally posting this out of concern!!
While I am so happy that you found a house that you love, after reading and following your story, I just hope that you have really thought this through. I went through something very similar, found a house we loved, got it, made it our own, and a year later we were filing for divorce...and left with a house to sell.
It can be such an exciting time, but just don't let it overshadow the issues that are going on.
AGAIN, I mean NO disrespect. I wish you the best of luck with your decision
