I think I failed my one hour...updated 8/1...Yup...totally failed!!
doctor called and left a message that their was a "problem" with my glucose test and to call them asap. THe office is closed now and I have to wait until tomorrow. There is a hx of GD and diabetes in my family....
ETA: Totally failed. I requested to have another one hour instead of the three hour. I requested this b/c I took my Glucose Tolerance at 8 pm at night with fasting only from 5pm. I thought this was unusual b/c everyone I know had this done first thing in the morning, with fasting at least 12 hours prior. They agreed but told me that if I fail even by one point, I have to go for the three hour. I am confident that I will pass.

even in a worst case scenario (you fail the 3 hour and are diagnosed with GD), it's inconvenient but it's totally managable... I adapted quite quickly and even traveled....
so don't get nervous and just mentally prepare yourself to hear you must schedule a 3 hour test........

I bet you will pass the 3 hr. I will , although even if you didn't, it's pretty common. I know 3 people who had it and all was fine.

Most people pass the 3 hour one, but even if you dont, its STILL not the end of the world. Lots of luck

My attempt at trying to make you feel better:
If there is an issue with your sugar, it is because you are just so INCREDIBLY SWEET that you exude sugar wherever you go!

Ok seriously, if there is a history, then you will know what you are in for. Apparently there was a history in our family and I didn't know about it. It can be managed and both you and Frankie will be just fine. Also, if you end up needing a glucometer, don't buy one. We have one that I thought I would need. I can get it to you if need be.

Definitely think that your fasting from only 5pm made a difference. Good luck, and don't worry, I failed the one hour by miles and passed the 3-hour.
