Definitely think that your fasting from only 5pm made a difference. Good luck, and don't worry, I failed the one hour by miles and passed the 3-hour.

But oddly enough...that is what the doctor told me to do! I questioned it, but they said it should be fine!

I think every doctor has their own theory on that. When I took the one hour, I fasted from about 8pm the night before; went at 6am the next morning and failed the test. So for the 3-hour, I went a little nuts and fasted from 5pm on and went the next morning at 7am and passed. I had it in my head that I failed because I fasted for less than 12 hours, my own stupid theory

Best of luck to you! These tests are a pain, as important as they are.

Thanks but for clarity I had my bloodtest at 8pm and was told to fast only from 5pm that day!!

I just sat through the 3 hour yesterday and it s*cked. I think it's because I didn't go first thing in the morning either. They never told me to fast and I had a banana 2 hours before the test Chat Icon My arms look like I'm a crackhead Good Luck on the second test!
