I think I finally know what a Braxton Hicks feels like!

As a first time preggo- I always wondered how the heck I am supposed to know what all these things feel like!

So today I'm doing my weekly Bio Physical and on the monitor and all of a sudden I see the contracton part go crazy- it goes up super high- peaks and then comes down- the print out looked like a moutain peak!
At the same time I was feeling this weird tightening in my upper belly- no pain at all- just an odd sensation.
I have always contributed that to the baby moving- like sliding by almost.
But looking at the read out and the monitor I was like - AH HA!
So now I know.
You learn something new every day when hooked to a monitor for half an hour!!

It's crazy...I didn't notice contractions until I was hooked up to a monitor either.

I know them now because I was having one while being examined and had no clue. My doc was like "you're having a contraction." I was like "huh??"

Now I know when my belly tightens up, that's what it is.
