I think my DD had night terrors last night- Kind of long...
So we have kind of a rough evening- went out for pizza, she had a tanturm at the front door upon leaving since I wouldn't let her take the cup of water in the car, usually almost 2 year old stuff. But she continued screaming about it all the way home and I finally lost it and yelled at her I felt awful after especially since she said, no screaming mommy(I say this to her a lot). I just wanted to cry.
Fast forward to bed time, she won't go down, wants to rock, every time I put her in the crib she starts crying hysterically. Usually I just let her CIO but I feel so guilty after I yelled at her I keep picking her up. SO glad I did since the last time, I had just fallen alseep and she started screaming again. I run in her room and she is hysterical, I can't calm her down. She is babbling about her Daddy who has been away on business all week, me screaming(I now feel like the WORST MOMMY IN THE WORLD), and all sorts of gibberish. I turn on the light and she goes nuts. I take her out of her room and she starts to calm down. I take her to my bed to go to sleep(there is no way I putting her back in her crib; I am terrifed now that I have really screwed up my child) and she passes out in my bed immediately.
It was the scariest thing I have ever seen and feel extremely responsible for it. I really think me yelling at her triggered it since she is sooo sensitive. e got upset with her for pooping in the tub 3 weeks ago two night in a row and she STILL talks about it. Please tell me I haven't tramuatized her forever
I am just feeling so sad and guilty today. Thanks for taking the time to read if you got this far...

Sounds like she's having a rough couple of days. I'm sure you didn't traumatize her.

Please don't beat yourself up about it. We all have our moments and with an almost 2 year I understand how draining it is. I always feel the same as you after Bella gives me a hard time and I lose it. But, the good news is she won't remember that any of this happened. You are a good mommy and Grace loves you very much.

Thanks Ladies I have such an awful day- I feel like such a meany. It didn't help that when I told DH he said, you can be sharp with her sometimes I guess I really need to work on that.
