I was in a car accident yesterday
I got hit by a 19 year old driving a minivan, she was doing like 20mph and I was waiting for the car in front of me to turn in to a gas station. She didn't even try to stop, she was just going to merge in to the lane next to her, but there was a big truck. So she hit me doing 20. What annoys me the most is that there was NO ONE behind her! She was crossing over an intersection and had plenty of time to slow to like 10mph and stop.
I drive a company car and I was so afraid my manager was going to be upset. I was hysterical.
So I called DH as soon as it happened and my office. Ajaysmom-Jessica- works with me and met me there, I was only about a mile away. The girl was screaming on the top of her lungs because it was her father's car, she had no proof of registration or insurance. I was hysterical because I was scared. DH and Jessica get there, I call OB who says to go to Mercy L&D. Get there, I am contracting 5 min apart. They gave me water and sent me for a sono. I come back to be monitored again, closer and strong, but no dilation. They made me drink an entire pitcher. They could have just done IV, I but they realized that after not eating for 8 hours, my sugar was low and I was dehydrated. And I was begging to leave because I had Juliette at my mom's and Kris at day care.
My neck and shoulders hurt a little today. but it could have been worse. The airbag could have gone off at that speed. But the baby is ok, and that is all I care about.
Hopefully today will be better. I am going in because I am saving my days for maternity! (THough I am sure I will be regretting it my noon.)

Thank goodness you and LO are ok. Yes, you will feel like a minivan hit you today, but take it easy. I completely understand about saving your days, too.

Oh geez! Try to take it easy-you need to make sure that you and your lil one are okay.
What a little brat! She hits an obviously pregnant woman is only cares about herself-if I were her, I would be more concerned that you were okay.
