Iam running out of time..please help
I am having alot of trouble with finding a hall for DD christening. We thought we had one place but it wound up the guy dbl booked by accident. I have called many places and either they have been booked or dont have any stove available for heating up the food.(family is cooking) Can anyone please reccomend a place under $600 that can hold up to 100 people, has a dance floor and i can bring in my own food..It would also be a great benefit to us if we could decorate early.
I live in Patchogue, so any area in central and eastern suffolk. Iam soo stressed and iam ready to pull my hair out. So many places dont even call me back.

im not familiar with your area, but there are usually VFW halls, Knights of columbus halls, and firemans halls that rent and let you bring your own food in etc.

They wouldnt let me come in a lttle early to decorate.
I have called a few VFWs, american legions, Elks Lodge, Port jeff village center, Many still have not called me back.

Call the greenbelt recreation center in Holtsville.
My family has had many parties there.
They have a stove and fridge and a dance floor and you can go in early to decorate. There is even a park outside if any of the kids want to play.
Its on the corner of Patchogue Holbrook Rd and Greenbelt Pkwy, next to the fire house

Polish American Hall Port Jefferson on Jayne Blvd.
I had my sweet 16 there. They let you decorate and bring your own food in. Plus its a nice big space and they were reasonable back than at least.

what you can do in this situation is have someone else go in and decorate while you are at the church taking pictures.
we rented our hall starting from 12, but the mass didn't end until 1. we had friends/family members decorate from 12:30-1:15 when the guests arrived.
YOU don't have to decorate. the place just needs to be decorated.

You can come in but you have to pay per half hour...still less than 600

We have had some functions at the Hungarian Liberty Hall on Ocean Avenue in Ronkonkoma...They have an upstairs and a downstairs and can accomodate that many people...It's nothing fancy, your typical looking VFW type place , but they do have a full kitchen ...They gave us the room for the full day which as a big plus !
