IDoes an ear infection and loss of appetite go hand in hand?
If so why is that?

Yes, my DS will not eat when he has one. The doctor said that sometimes with an ear infection, when you swallow it hurts your ears and makes a whooshing sound if there is fluid there. Also generally, as with adults, when you don't feel well, you just don't have an appetite.

Yes, my DS has an ear infection and he really hasn't eaten in days. I guess it doesn't help that he has strep throat too.
