If they're rolling over in the swaddle we have to quit cold turkey, right? UPDATE
Between breaking out if and rolling over we had to stop the swaddle cold turkey for DS and he is just miserable.
We did CIO a few weeks ago and had been doing great, then he started breaking out. And then rolling over every once in awhile. But tonight he rolled over like 4 times in an hour and we decided it was just too dangerous for him to be swaddled still.
Should we be doing CIO again? Or going in every two minutes to soothe him back to sleep? I'm so confused.
DD we are breaking little by little. Tonight I left just one arm out and she is doing great so far.
UPDATE: SO he did a lot better than I expected. We put him in the sleep sack and he rolled over onto his tummy and fell asleep that way. Of course I was freaking out because he was sleeping on his belly, but I figured if he is doing it himself, then what can I do? DH fed him around 12:30 and put him back to sleep on his back and he fell asleep and didn't wake up again until 5ish. DD did great too with her one arm out of the swaddle. I am so proud of them!

You can try just swaddling from the waist down as a transition, that is what I did with Alexa and after a week of this I was able to get rid of the swaddle......
