If you are getting gift cards for daycare/preschool teachers, which store are you buying them for?

I have 1 main teacher and 2 assistant teachers to buy for.

I know the main teacher has a daughter. The assistant teachers are young, like early 20's students studying to be teachers.

Should I get her a TRU gift card and maybe Sephora gift cards for the assistant teachers?

What gift cards are you getting your teachers?

Am I better off giving them cash or VISA gift cards?

Thankgoodness I have an insider at DS's school. Our cousin is the Kindergarten teacher so she knows them

So far all I know is Mason's head teacher likes Macy's so getting her a GC there.
The assistant is younger. Maybe in her early or mid 20's.

Also, the baby's has 3 teachers. They're older so I'm at a loss. Hopefully my cousin will get back to me soon.
If I don't get anything else then I figured a Visa GC.

I'm not sure about the TRU GC. Then the gift is really for her daughter and not something she can get for herself. What about Target or a store like that so this way she can use it how she wants to... herself or her daughter

Last year I did Target giftcards but, DS' teachers were older.

I wouldn't do TRU since it's not a gift for the teacher herself.

I'd go with a large store that carries a lot of things or a Visa/Amex giftcard.

I usually just buy Target GC. They have everything at that store.

i get no fee GCs at Chase...so I'm doing that.

Our class is doing a collection for a big gift for Emily's teachers. However I will be buying them each a small ($20) gift card to Dunken Donuts as something extra from us. They both are coffee drinkers --- every time I have seem them for conferences, open house, etc. they've each had a large DD coffee in their hands.

I know when I was a teacher I really appreciated stuff like that --- so I could make a quick stop before or after work and grab a cup o' joe!

I'm probably going to do Visa/Amex or Target. Both the teacher and assistant are older women.
