My SIL is evacuating to us, and DH's grandmother is evacuating to his other grandmother. I am insisting they come tonight. I know it isn't supposed to start until midday tomorrow but I feel much better with everyone settled where they need to be tonight.

Do you know when they're saying the worst of it is supposed to last until? I'm starting to get the sense that it's Mon afternoon through Tues morn?

I just saw on the weather channel that there are still high winds and heavy rain expected for most of tuesday.

SIL evacuated to us tonite, she lives in zone A as to in laws. During Irene in laws stayed SIL came, same deal this time. She is trying to convince them to come, but I know they will never leave their house.

Yes, it looks like I am looking at not leaving house til Weds!!
As for sleeping, tonight is the night that I told my kids we can have a living room sleeping/late night watching movies. If there is no school on Tues we will do the same. However, there are trees right next to the couch I would sleep on! Our beds are not near trees.
