if you bank with citibank..
are you happy with them ?
can you earn points with your debit cards ?
I'm with chase but citi offered me $400 to open my accounts there. Wondering if I should switch.
TIA!

Re: if you bank with citibank..
I do and I love them
I have the American Airlines Card so I get miles for every dollar I spend. Given that I travel a lot this was what I chose. They also have thank you points, but I don't participate.
Honestly they've done very good by me. Both my hubby and I are on the account with our own cards, a few times his card has been resent to us because of fraudulant activity from one of their members at a store where my husband had used his card within 45days. I mean really? come on! But we've never had issues so i guess it works.
They've helped me fight a scam, helped me with other issues too. I have occasionally overdrawn but I check my account and they won't charge the fee or take from my overdraft until a certain time, so I am able to move the money myself and avoid the penalities. This is huge for me. Sometimes (like when I'm standing in a tire shop) I need the money right away. Jim moved the money on his app and in less than 1min we had the money for the tires.
I'm happy.
ETA: I left Chase. I had Chase first, then Citibank and had them both. Then dropped Chase only because I didn't need that many accounts. I had so many issues with Chase for that. They Charged me the monthly Fees even tho my account was closed. I got statements with negatives and I owe chase.. blah blah.. I walked in to close my account and walked BACK in to find out what happened. They gave me a run around that I owe them the money. How do you charge on a zero account? How do you charge on closed? Ugh I spent a good 2hrs with 3 idiots at the branch in Huntington until FINALLY I got pissy and they just cleared the account. With that, I'm never going back to Chase.

Re: if you bank with citibank..
I have my checking acct with them and a business acct with them. I like the convenience of banking with them, I have been with them for years but I am switching to a credit union because they are requiring a $6,000 min balance and I dont want my money just sitting there..

Re: if you bank with citibank..
I've been banking with them for years, and really have no complaints. I get Thank You Points with my credit and debit cards, and I usually use them to pay down my balance.
They are making changes now, where they are requiring either a minimum balance (I don't know the $$) or that you perform 2 automatic transactions with them per month. I perform waaayyy more than 2, so it's not an issue.
The fact that 7-11s use their ATMs is FANTASTIC, too. I almost never pay an ATM fee anymore.

Re: if you bank with citibank..
I'm leaving them now. Basically I got a letter stating that I need to maintain a $6000 balance or pay a $15 monthly service fee. Buh Bye!
ETA: This is a secondary account for me. I use Chase for bills, paycheck deposits, etc. My Citi acct is just extra savings sitting there.
