Stay away from credit cards....do not be lured by store credit cards that give you a percentage off that day they are not worth it and they have a high interest rate as well.

My advice was to pay with cash!!!
I've learned the hard way regarding debt!!!

and put money away a week into a savings

Read the newspaper - preferably more than one.
Be polite.
Ask for help.
Make requests, not demands.
Wear underwear if you're being photographed by the paparazzi.

Not that I would ever pass this on to anyone but this lovely piece of advice was given to me:
Keep you mouth open and your legs closed 
YES, this was actual advice someone gave me!
My advice would be don't try to grow up too fast. You will be there before you know it. Wishing you were a teenager again.

NEVER EVER EVER DRINK AND DRIVE!!!!
Dont do drugs
Wear a condom
Dont go to an expensive college if you have a good state school. YOull be paying loans for the rest of you life
