If you had a successful IVF...
How many embryos did you transfer and how many babies do you have from that successful transfer?
If you are uncomfortable answering publicly, feel free to fm me.

Re: If you had a successful IVF...
We did two fresh transfers. We transferred two embryos each time. The first time was a BFN. The second time was a BFP and DD arrived 9.5 months later

If you had a successful IVF...
Wow, How lucky you ladies are to have to go only thru it 2 X's. I however did 5 FRESH IVF's with no embryos frozen until last cycle. First cycle BFP- m/c, 2nd-neg, 3rd-BFP- m/c, 4th- NEG & finally got twins on 5th time. We paid for 5th cycle. The other 4 covered by insurance.

Re: If you had a successful IVF...
1st ivf had to freeze all b/c hyperstimmed. Did 2 fets w/ 2 blasts each resulting in chemicals. 2nd ivf transferred 3 on day 3 which gave me my DD!! Miracles do happen!!

3 and 1. We transferred 3 due to my specific issues. Due to my betas initially not rising appropriately, we believe that there was a vanishing twin.

Re: If you had a successful IVF...
I think if you're making this decision, it should really be based on your specific circumstance. Everyone's responses will be based on age and fertility issues. For us, we put back 2 and were blessed with twins. I have no fertility issues, DH had inconsistent count/morph, etc....We had several failed IUI's and 2.5 yrs of trying and a miscarriage before that... I was also 29 when we put 2 back.
Have you spoken to the Dr?

Re: If you had a successful IVF...
One ivf at age 32 due to male factor. Only produced three "eh" embryos...transferred all three against my better judgement. Two implanted...one split into identical twins bringing my total to three! By the grace of god all are healthy but my pregnancy was haunted by the fears of preterm labor and twin to twin transfusion. Somehow I dodged every bullet and have three healthy boys but believe me when I tell you it was an excruciatingly uncomfortable, often painful, and frightening pregnancy. If you do icsi and assisted hatching KNOW that your odds of am embryo splitting are higher!

Re: If you had a successful IVF...
We had several failed IVFs. The one that resulted in our twin boys, we transferred 3 embies, all took, only 2 survived.
Transfer however many you want to raise!

If you had a successful IVF...
transferred 2, both took - one was blighted ovum and one was my now 2 year old DD we have 8 good quality frosties so if i have to cycle again when we are ready to TTC I will likely put 2 back again; however the thought of twins is much scarier now that i have one child. if we had done any type of testing i might consider putting back only one in the future but we didnt and the embies were frozen as day 5 blasts. i am still secretly hoping its a decision i never have to make. good luck!

If you had a successful IVF...
Thank you all for your responses.
I have a 2.5 yr DD and have been TTC #2 for a year. I have been advised to do IVF. I am all for it but am scared about having twins or more if we put in two embryos. I know that even if we put in 1 embryo we could still end up with twins.
