If you had one late talker, did you have another?

Had a late talker.. Looks like the second will be, too

Any experiences? Once older one started talking, he never shut up lol

No, my second says much more now than his brother did at that age. And many things he pronounces more clearly than DS#1 who gets speech therapy.

No - I have three kids and only #1 was a late talker. #2 and #3 are motor mouths. Talking big sentences (and starting to combine 2 sentences) by 2 whereas #1 barely had 50 words by 2!

My first wasn't a late talker. My second was -- she wasn't even saying "Da" at her second birthday. She got speech therapy until she was 5 and now her vocabulary is huge and she never stops talking. Do EI because we are lucky enough to live in NY, and then relax it seems to work out fine!

No my first dd had only a few words at a year my second has over 30 at 13 months. It's a very big differnce.

My niece who just turned 3 has been in EI for Speech since she was 2 and a half. Her younger sister is turning 2 in August and doesn't say many words so I think she will be the same. I will say that my 3 year old niece has improved a lot since meeting with the speech therapist.
