if you have a cleaning person/service - 2 questions

Are you happy with their work?

Are you home when they're cleaning?

I've been trying out a few people and I'm not completely satisfied. I'm wondering if I'm being too picky and I need to stop expecting a spotless floor and perfectly clean house, or if I should keep looking for someone better.

I just feel if I'm PAYING someone, they should be doing a professional job (better than what I could do myself - as I'm not a great cleaner).

my parents have two ladies come in every two weeks to help out. My mom wishes they did more but they are very selective on what they do and don't do.

My woman is good to excellent. She is extremely trustworthy and will do whatever I ask. That being said she is pricey and has very limited availability!

I use Celina. She was suggested on here by a few people. She is good, and will do anything you ask of her. My mom uses her as well. We are home when she comes.

I have someone who comes in every other week (recommended by a neighbor) - she cleans very well, house is always smelling clean and kitchen and bathrooms are spotless. Well worth it IMO.
the only thing i don't like about her is that sometimes the furniture still needs to be moved back to where it should be when she's done. We find ourselves coming home and having to go thru the house to 'fix' everything to put it back right.

However, if you feel they're not living up to your standards, have you tried speaking to her and telling her what you want? IMO if you're paying someone to do something, you should have it done to your standards, or you find someone else to do it.

Yup, I've tried/am trying. I've spoken to the manager, tried different people and made explicit lists of what I wanted done. Yes somehow the last cleaner managed to completely forgot my kitchen and half bath Chat Icon Chat Icon
