Can you get to the back row? Can the seat slide up with a carseats on it? My daughter is looking at both of these and is getting different answers from different dealers. She called carseat Chris who installs carseats in Nassau but she hasn't heard back yet.

I have an Odyssey and I think it would be pretty tough to get back there. we have our carseat in the middle of the second row. The end two seats shift up to get in the back but it's only easy to get back there if you also fold the seat down, something that would be impossible with a car seat on it.

I'm going to say in most cases, very doubtful you'd be able to access the 3rd row. Most seats tend to overlap the split plus as the PP pointed out you'd have to fold the seat down. With the right configuration of seats, it may be possible to have a booster in one of the fold down seats which can be easily moved to access the third row, but if the seat needs to be folded down then you'd have to uninstall the seat each time.

I do know of a couple moms with older (walker) rear facers that load their kids into the third row from the hatch because they have the 2nd row with carseats in it.
