Do you feel they make them sleep better?

I can't complain about my 3m olds sleeping habits, he sleeps from 8-9pm till about 6:15am. Sometimes a tad later. I think he's waking with the sunlight in the room, which is fine right now - I have to go back to work Monday and we have to be up at that time anyway. On days off, I'd love for him to get another hour or 2 in.

We're doing construction soon and DS will have a new room. Just wondering if I should splurge for good blackout shades, or just stick with white faux wooden blinds.

I'm not sure if our blackout shades have contributed to DD sleeping so well since they've been in there from day one, I have nothing to compare it to, but my DD wakes up at 8:05 pretty much every day. You could set your clock to her.

i look at blackout shades as just one weapon in my sleep-training arsenal. Every little bit helps!

I do think they help a lot! Especially in the summer hours when it's still light out at bedtime. The room stays nice and dark and there's no confusion.

It feels so weird putting him down for the night in the daylight over the summer. In pretty sure I'm gonna get them.
