Re: If you have both hardwood floors and carpet in your home
Our house is a smorgasbord of flooring options
We only have hardwoods downstairs. Foyer, dining room, kitchen, 1/2 bath. Carpet downstairs is in the formal living room (which DH uses as his home office) and the living room.
Upstairs we have carpet in the master bedroom as well as all of the other bedrooms. We have ceramic tile in the master bath, and laminate in the 2 other bathrooms and 2nd floor laundry room.
We didn't build this house--I probably would have liked a little more uniformity--but hey, whatever works, right?
